Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Thursday launched an attack on "pseudo-journalists" and "traitors of the country" in a video statement shared by her manager and sister, Rangoli Chandel, on Twitter.

"A lot is being reported about the debate that ensued between our film JudgeMentall Hai Kya actor and a journalist, at the film's song launch event on July 7". Members of the Guild also demanded a public apology from both Kapoor and Ranaut, journalists present at the meeting said.

"I request you people with folded hands to go ahead and ban me, kyuki main nahi chahti ke meri wajah se tum logo ke ghar mein chulha jale (because I don't want you guys to earn your livelihood on my name)". First, Kangana had claimed that journalists are busy in a "smear campaign" against the actress because they did not give good reviews to her film, Manikarnika. "While the people involved in it fairly held their own perspectives but because it happened at the event of our film, we, as the producers, would like to apologize and express regret for this untoward incident", Ekta Kapoor said on Instagram. A day after, entertainment journalists' guild of India announced that they would continue their ban on Kangana Ranaut till the time the actor apologises for her spat with a PTI entertainment reporter, Justin Rao, actress' sister Rangoli Chandel tweeted a video where we can see the actress talking about the Indian media and how they are manipulating news. But what's the difference between her and that guy since she has resorted to lines like "tum logon ke baap dadaon ko bhi maine lohe ke channe chabaen" (I've given a hard time to your fathers and grandfathers) to ridicule the people in the media business?

Kangana Ranaut is once again in the news for a controversial reason. Unfortunately, the event took an unpleasant turn. But that turned out to be quite the empty threat because Balaji Motion Pictures, the company that is producing Kangana and Rajkummar Rao's movie, has issued a formal apology. She also had tough words against the media and was also seen losing her language for it. She also called him cheap.

"Judgementall Hai Kya" is scheduled to release on July 26.
