Baker makes marijuana birthday cake, it was supposed to be Moana

A Facebook post is going viral after a hilarious cake mistake.

A Georgia woman said a miscommunication while ordering her birthday cake led to dessert having a marijuana theme rather than the intended Moana theme.

Kensli Davis posted on Facebook saying her mom had ordered the cake through a local bakery.

Alongside the message "happy 25th birthday Kensli", a large cannabis leaf adorned the icing, along with a pony smoking a joint blowing out a puff of smoke.

"That ice-cream cake was still good though", she wrote.

However, it seems the baker misheard her mother's innocent request for a "Moana cake".

The post is a hit on social media, racking up more than 11,000 shares.

She wrote: "I haven't had a chance to tell y'all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake".

Previously, a mum baked a cake for her daughter's 14th birthday - only to realise it resembles something very rude.

"I think they thought that she said "marijuana" because we are from south Georgia and kind of have an accent".

"Trust me she was so embarrassed I told her it was hilarious", Ms Davis replied. "I guess when they said that I love cartoons, they were just like, 'Let's throw a little pony on there.' It had red eyes".
