While Palace value Zaha at £80 million, Arsenal came in at £40 million for the player.

Managers are working hard trying to strengthen their squads during the summer transfer window so we'll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe.

Arsenal are in talks with Real Madrid about signing Lucas Vazquez, according to a report in Spain.

Zaha is now away with the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations as Crystal Palace look to keep their star man.

Wilfried Zaha refused to rule out a move to Arsenal, when asked about his future ahead of Ivory Coast's last-16 clash with Mali at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

ABC say on Saturday that Vazquez "studies" a proposal to sign for Arsenal, with it being claimed there's a €33m (plus €5m in bonus payments) offer from the Premier League club.

"I don't feel we need Zaha at the moment, it's not a position we need to strengthen".

The winger made just six league starts for the Catalan side last season following his £37million switch from Bordeaux nearly one year ago.

The Gunners' opening bid of £40m for Zaha was rejected by Palace, who considered the offer derisory.

They are one of the biggest clubs in the world.

The Ivory Coast global is believed to have informed the Palace hierarchy of his desire to leave the club this summer, with the 26-year-old reportedly keen on a move to North London to fulfil his ambitions of playing European football.

The pursuit of these two players were seemingly an attempt to execute a more affordable deal for the club, who famously only have a £45m budget for the entire summer.

Arsenal are reported to be in for both players but Seaman believes Kieran Tierney should be the priority and stated his case why.
