Burger King has figured out how to serve Whoppers upside-down in 1980s-era packaging and turn that into a marketing opportunity.

The Upside Down Whopper will start being sold on June 21. In the meantime, the third season of the show is due to hit Netflix in early July.

It's like a regular Whopper but with the bottom bun on the top and the top bun on the bottom.

The special treat can be enjoyed starting June 21 at certain restaurants in several US cities, including Miami, Houston, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. Restaurants in those cities will also have limited-edition ketchup packets and t-shirts inspired by 'Stranger Things'. There's also a BK app contest with Coke, where you scan the icon displayed on any Burger King drink cup to enter for a chance to win such daily prizes as food, cash, airline tickets, a auto, and a Stranger Things VIP experience. Those who do so will also be treated to "exclusive" content from the show.

In May, Coca-Cola announced that it would revive its now-defunct "New Coke" recipe by releasing a limited number of cans of the shortlived drink, which was originally launched in 1985 and taken off the market 79 days later due to public pushback against the sweeter flavour.

Just in case your Ingress isn't feeling very Prime, byour Pokemon Go got up and went or your Wizards aren't very United, Netflix and Next Games have unveiled a new game based on Stranger Things.

Burger King will also include DoorDash delivery as part of the promotion.
