Durant's status was upgraded to questionable following practice, the National Basketball Association announced via an injury report.

The news comes after the Warriors star practiced with his teammates for the first time since injuring his right calf May 8 against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semifinals.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters on Sunday that Durant would, indeed, practice and that could be enough to get him back on the court on Monday night.

There has been no decision made regarding Durant for Game 5 at this time and there's little more information out there other than the fact that TSN's Josh Lewenberg is reporting that Durant won't speak with the media after practice today.

Thompson said he does not think it will be hard to integrate Durant back into the offense, even after he's missed so much time.

After taking Games 3 and 4 on the road, VanVleet and the Raptors are one win away from the franchise's first championship, and Toronto's first title in North America's four major sports since the Blue Jays won the World Series in 1993. "It's just having another powerful weapon out there that can do some very dynamic things on the floor". On an even more basic level, Durant would also help fill minutes. "He's been in plenty of Finals and has played well". In the NBA Finals that year, they saw a 3-1 advantage disappear to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavs.

While Toronto has been the healthier, steadier and more impressive team throughout this series, Thompson allowed himself to dream about the possibility of a Durant-led comeback. I know what type of competitor he is, and we obviously miss him dearly.

"I got back home, went to the hospital, got a CT scan to make sure that no bones were broken in my face", VanVleet said Sunday afternoon.
