The Telegraph report James has left the Wales training camp to undergo a medical.

The Swansea midfielder netted five times in 38 games in all competitions last season, although he was unable to secure their promotion to the top flight.

Manchester United's summer transfer plans are being frustrated by what they believe are unrealistic premiums being placed on young British players and are turning their focus on cheaper, foreign options, sources have told ESPN FC.
