Kate Middleton Wears Lover's Knot Tiara to State Banquet for the Trumps

Kate Middleton channelled her inner princess and made a royal fashion statement as she attended the state dinner at the Buckingham Palace.

This is the first time Kate has attended - her husband William took the salute previous year and brother-in-law Harry in 2017.

She completed the incredible look with a loose updo, a royal blue sash with red-and-white stripes, along with the pearl-and-diamond crusted Lover's Knot Tiara, per a first lady pool report.

The GVCO is the highest ranking of chivalry which the Queen personally awarded her in April, on her eighth wedding anniversary with Prince William, in gratitude for service to the sovereign.

But being a member of the British royal family isn't a requirement. Later, the President and First Lady joined Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall for tea at their nearby residence, Clarence House.Prince Harry attended a private exhibition without his wife Meghan Markle, who is now on maternity leave after giving birth to their son Archie Harrison on May 6.

At the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Prince Harry was making the crowd laugh by throwing jokes into his speech for the annual Founder's Day parade. A surprise appearance by the Duchess of Cambridge out and about and looking chic as hell.

Prior to the banquet, the Queen hosted a private lunch for Trump and his wife.

Meghan is expected to step out on Saturday for the Trooping of the Colour, aka that event where all of the royals wear their fanciest hats and stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace behind Queen Elizabeth.
