Hazard leaves Europa League winners Chelsea after seven years at Stamford Bridge, with the two clubs agreeing to a fee of 100 million euros for the player.

"You will know in a couple of days".

In the seven years following, he won six major honours scored 110 goals for the Blues.

Real had been reluctant to pay more than £88m for the Belgian, but eventually agreed to a deal that is set to earn Chelsea as much as £130m once all the bonuses have been met.

Chelsea have accepted a bid from Real Madrid for star man Eden Hazard in a deal which could see the London club net up to £130 million ($US165 million), according to reports.

He inspired Chelsea to a 4-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League final on his farewell appearance, scoring twice and setting up a goal for Pedro.

Hazard has stated on numerous ocassions before that it was a dream of his to play for Real under his footballing idol Zinedine Zidane. Hazard has said that he wants a new challenge, and there's quite a big one at hand in the Spanish capital.

But Zidane returned in March after Santiago Solari was sacked, giving Hazard the chance to finally link up with the former Real midfielder.

Real Madrid finished third in La Liga last season and failed to reach the finals of the Champions League and Copa del Rey.

It is expected that Real are making plans to make an announcement as soon as early next week as Hazard is now on global duty with Belgium. They confirmed earlier today that they have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport about the transfer ban imposed on them by Federation Internationale de Football Association over their past recruitment of foreign minors.

"The move is subject to the 28-year-old completing a medical and signing his contract with Real".

Manager Maurizio Sarri's move to Juventus is expected to be wrapped up shortly, with Chelsea holding out for £5m in compensation.
