Raptors and Warriors gear up for Game 3

LeBron James had the epic block on Andre Iguodala, Love played tremendous defense on Curry and Kyrie Irving hit the game-winning stepback 3-pointer over Curry from the right wing.

The Warriors were able to weather the injury bug, as their sharpshooter and Game 2 leading scorer Klay Thompson (25 points) went down with what is being called hamstring tightness. Full-court scrimmaging is a step the Warriors medical staff and Kerr want to see before he is cleared for game action. "He thinks it is minor, so I don't know what that means going forward".

The Warriors won Game 6 of that series before sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers in the Conference Finals.

Thompson has averaged 23 points per game on 52.9 percent shooting so far in The Finals despite leaving Game 2 midway through the third quarter.

Last week, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reported the Warriors believed Durant would return in Game 4, with Game 3 considered a more optimistic option.

In addition to Durant and Thompson, backup big man Kevon Looney suffered a non-displaced cartilage fracture on the right side of his collarbone area in Game 2 and will miss the remainder of The Finals.

Kerr said Durant will get on the floor at the team's practice facility later Tuesday.

The best-of-seven series with the Toronto Raptors is tied at 1-all.
