Israel to auction prefab classrooms donated by European Union to Palestinians

On Wednesday, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had said that the USA and its allies will fail to impose the deal on Palestinians.

Day commemorations, which are held on the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, were launched by Iran's revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and are held by pro-Iranian groups across the region.

Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian teenager who was trying to climb a security fence and cross into Jerusalem from the West Bank on Friday.

Iranians have begun rallies across the country to mark Quds, or Jerusalem Day, which will see demonstrations across the Mideast as the Trump administration tries to offer an Israeli-Palestinian peace plan.

Meanwhile, analysts believe holding new Israeli elections will cause the United States to postpone the declaration of its new peace plan, better known as the Deal of the Century, to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The details of the proposal remain unknown.

Jerusalem is the third holiest site in Islam, after the cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE are expected to participate in the June summit, but Palestinian leaders have said they will not attend.

The Palestinian Authority has already said it will boycott the Bahrain conference after it cut ties with the U.S. administration over Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Hani Habib, a Gaza-based political analyst, said that "holding the elections in Israel again would certainly influence the process of declaring and implementing the USA -brokered Deal of the Century".

"There will be tough compromises for both", he added, when asked about whether it is a "two state" solution.

The economic part of the USA plan is expected to be unveiled at a workshop in Bahrain in late June.
