As noted, the Redmi K20 Pro boasts a Snapdragon 855, the latest processor that's commercially available so far.

Of course, theres no guarantee that both vanilla and Pro models will be available in all regions.

As if all that is not enough, the Redmi K20 Pro has another feather in its hat to bolster its standing in the crowded smartphone marketplace: it is now one of the smartphones enrolled to the Android 10 beta-testing programme.

Redmi finally launched the K20 & K20 Pro in China today & as expected, both the phones come with a killer pricing, especially the K20 Pro, which is a flagship, the first under the "Redmi" lineup.

First up is the Redmi K20 Pro, which is the most affordable phone yet to feature the Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Other than the camera, the devices offer big, nearly bezel-less 6.39-inch displays with a tiny, neglectable chin at the bottom and an in-display fingerprint reader. The front camera is claimed to pop-out in 0.8 seconds. They're considered as flagship killers albeit moderately priced.

Redmi K20 features a 6.39-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. On the front, there's a 20MP selfie camera that's housed in a motorized pop-up module. Redmi is offering this flagship processor at such a low price. On the other hand, the K20 is powered by a Snapdragon 730 paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. You can do this by turning off the device using both the power and the volume buttons. The Mi 9T also crams a 4000mAh battery under its hood and ships with an 18W fast charger.

Redmi K20 has been enrolled in the Android Q beta testing program. To complete the package, the devices also sport a 13MP ultra wide-angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens that should allow for more focal length options. Other rumours, as per a Polish blog, suggest that the Mi 9T will be the rebranded Redmi K20 smartphone in European countries like Poland and Russian Federation. Whereas, the 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 8/256GB variants will cost CNY 2,599 (about Rs. 26,200), CNY 2,799 (about Rs. 28,200), and CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 30,200) respectively. The 8GB RAM variant with 256GB of internal storage is retailing for CNY 2999 (approx Dollars 435 / INR 30,000).

The phone starts at $360 for the version with 6GB or RAM and 64GB of storage. It is priced at 2999 Yuan.
