I don't think I have done anything wrong.

Vivek, who reportedly dated Aishwarya in the early 2000s, posted a meme with three panels, one with him, another with Salman Khan and a third with her husband Abhishek and daughter Aaradhya on Twitter.

The meme was originally shared by someone else on Twitter, but Vivek picked it up for his own comment: "Haha! I'd like to meet them, I'll also like to explain myself because I don't think I have done anything wrong", Vivek said.

Apart from Sonam Kapoor, sports personality Jwala Gutta and media personality Nidhi Razdan also slammed Vivek for his tweet. The meme compared Aishwraya's relationships to poll results. "No politics here, just life". Director Madhur Bhandarkar also tweeted, "Dear @vivekoberoi, never expected such tweet from u".

"I have read her tweet". The trolls may go to any extent and make memes but u as a responsible celebrity should be careful of hurting anyone's dignity.

He said that he was working on women empowerment since the time when Sonam Kapoor 'was working on her personal makeover.' "All I would like to tell Sonam is that you are a good girl". Oberoi, who is playing the role of Narendra Modi in an upcoming biopic on the prime minister, was on the list of the Bharatiya Janata Party's star campaigners in Gujarat.

Another user wrote, "You tweeting this pic is a sign that Aishwarya made a sensible decision". The commission's chairperson Rekha Sharma asked Oberoi to apologise on social media as well as in person to Bachchan, ANI reported.

While The National Commission for Women has already issued a notice to actor Vivek Oberoi asking for an explanation, The Maharashtra State Women's Commission too will soon send a notice to the actor.
