Coming off the back of last week's relatively slow season opener it is easy to see why some people might have once again been left frustrated by A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, the second episode of Game Of Thrones' final season.

It begins with Sansa's voiceover saying, "The most heroic thing we can do now is to look the truth in the face", as we see the combined Westerosi army with siege weapons arrayed against the approaching army of the dead.

"Besides, if someone who is going through this knows I did too they might think: "Well if the Mother of Dragons can do it, so can I". Robert Baratheon claimed that Rhaegar had raped Lyanna, and even Dany believes that version, even though Rhaegar is her brother. Sansa hugs him close after this admission, but Theon - still mostly seeing himself as the deplorable Reek at this point - can't find it in him to accept that affection and closeness and keeps his hands at his side. She's also unimpressed that he appears to be the sum total of the army Cersei promised she'd send. She asked him about Melisandre, and he explained that he was Robert's bastard.

The jokes poked fun at Daenerys Targaryen's awkward encounter with Sansa Stark; Arya Stark's sexy night with Gendry; and Bran Stark's creepy lines to Jaime Lannister.

With the big battle between the humans and the undead on Game Of Thrones looming, everyone's talking about who is going to die and whether our gang of soldiers will actually manage to defeat the Night King.

The Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 3 preview, or as HBO calls it, "A quick look at Sn 8 / Ep 3 of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones". But before we bid goodbye to them, let's get to know the White Walkers a bit more.

As it is right now, on linear TV, the Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage led Thrones is up 10.6% from the second episode of the last season.
