STL Moms: Hunt for eggs and a cure this Easter

The Governor's Easter egg hunt happens each year on the Saturday before Palm Sunday.

From pools full of Easter eggs, to tinsel trees ripe with enough eggs for the picking, Calvary Christian aimed to provide a sensory-friendly egg hunt, designed for families with children with disabilities. Plus, bring your camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Saturday, April 20 will be egg hunts at Rutland Fireman's Park at 11 a.m.; at Belleville Locks and Dam at 11 a.m., sponsored by the Olive Twp.

The hunt will end on this Saturday, April 20th with another egg hunt and prize giveaway.

Free egg hunt tote bags will be available while supplies last. Egg apparatus must not contain any metal, glass or other material that may shatter upon impact. The Easter bunny posed for photos and gave each of the kids an Easter treat.

The museum called the event an "Egg-Cellent Adventure". The event features 10 hidden (and empty) beer cans as far west as Eagle-Vail and as far south as Minturn - most hidden in Vail Village - for beer-hunting adults to find.
