This allows the Bengals to match their same travel plans from 2016 when they made the trip to London for a game against Washington and evenly splits up the season into two halves. The first such game happened in 2016 in Mexico City against the Oakland Raiders. The game will take place at Tottenham Hotspur's newly-opened stadium in London. The Raiders will host the Bears on October 6, and the Buccaneers will be the home team against the Panthers on October 13.

In advance of the full schedule release, set for Wednesday evening, the National Football League has announced the details of their five International Series games in 2019.

The following weekend - on Sunday, November 3 - will see the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, a franchise that is considering a permanent move to London, finish the European fixtures for the season. Tampa Bay will be the designated home team, meaning the Panthers will still play eight games at Bank of America Stadium in 2019.

The 2019 preseason schedule will be finalized Wednesday as well, with dates and times not previously announced.

The games make up two of the five in the NFL's International Series, with Wembley Stadium set to host another two and the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City hosting the other. We know from the league-wide announcement last week, that the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears would kick off the 2019 season.
