Respawn Entertainment, a studio of Electronic Arts, is collaborating with Lucasfilm on the game, which will be released on November 19 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

"When Respawn approached us with the idea for this game, we were immediately supportive".

The playable main character of this story is Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who must hide in plain sight to escape Chancellor Palpatine's decree and trust in the force to master its ways in hopes of survival.

And of course, we have plenty more coverage from Star Wars Celebration, including our comprehensive coverage on everything we've learned so far about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Additionally, you can spot a female mentor in the trailer, who is a former Jedi Knight herself.

Star Wars actor Ian McDiarmid had the flawless response to his surprise appearance as Emperor Palpatine in the trailer for the upcoming The Rise of Skywalker film. He also worked in tandem with the Lucasfilm Story Group to ensure that they could tell an actual story that has a place in the overall Star Wars canon. He will have a small droid companion with him, BD-1. If it is as iconic as people believe it is right now, the possibilities are bountiful, as Star Wars contains a rich history of characters between the feature films and Expanded Universe.

The trailer shown at the panel was "in-game engine", although it specifically focused on telling some of the story of the game. As a Jedi hero-turned-fugitive, players will need to fight for survival while exploring the mysteries of a long-extinct civilization all in an effort to rebuild the remnants of the Jedi Order as the Empire seeks to erase the Jedi completely.

Lucasfilm has chose to put Star Wars movies on hiatus after the release of Episode IX, Rise of Skywalker, to focus on their shows for parent company Disney's upcoming streaming service. Players will have to use all of their abilities and moves to succeed in combat, according to Respawn Entertainment.

Before the event, EA revealed the game would be singleplayer only, will not contain any microtransactions and would have no loot boxes.

To make Jedi: Fallen Order into the sprawling action-driven experience that was envisioned, Stig Asmussen slowly built a team of some of the industry's top veterans.
