Yesterday the Borderlands official Twitter account reportedly posted that said "Mayhem is coming September 13" and later deleted the tweet.

Also revealed is Borderlands 3's cover art, which is frankly incredible.

The news of Borderlands 3's exclusive launch on the Epic Games Store has left many fans unhappy, and some have turned to review bombing the original games on Steam to show their displeasure.

Last week we saw Gearbox confirm that Borderlands 3 is on the way. You also get the Butt Stallion weapon, which fans of Borderlands 2 will enjoy.

Borderlands 3 character figurines (x10): Make room on your shelf for the whole crew, including the four new Vault Hunters, the fanatical Calypso Twins, and some of your favorite characters from the Borderlands universe! There's an Epic Games Store logo in the bottom left corner of the video, suggesting the shooter will be joining Metro Exodus, Phoenix Point, and several others as a timed exclusive. Gearbox CEO, Randy Pitchford, tweeted his support for the Epic Games Store late a year ago and stated that he was excited to support it himself.

In the middle of the pack, the $80 Deluxe Edition and the $100 Super Deluxe Edition include a bunch of in-game cosmetics as well as XP and loot boosts.

He continued to say that he's "happy to shop in different stores" and offered a preemptive defence and hint at Borderlands 3's shorter exclusivity.

Finally, the Collector's Edition also reveals there will be season pass, and it will also come with a map, steelbook, and a loot chest replica.

We'll know a lot more details about Borderlands 3, including the game's full features set and likely pricing as well, later today at 6 AM Pacific Time as that's when the official reveal is happening.
