To claim your year of Nintendo Switch Online you'll need to hear over to the Twitch Prime website, where you'll be able log into your Twitch account and grab the offer. Nintendo Switch Online family membership holders are not eligible for this offer.

Nintendo Switch Online is the subscription service for the smash hit console that lets users play multiple player games online and access classic NES games.

If you already have Nintendo Switch Online, you can stack your free months on top of an existing paid subscription. After doing so (and waiting 60 days) you can then claim the remaining nine months any time until January 22, 2020, when the deal expires. Prime members can claim a whole year of Switch Online free of charge, saving you £19.99 that you can now go and fritter away on Amazon.

The offer starts off with a free 3-month offer, then afterwards, another 9-month individual membership becomes available.

You also might already have Twitch Prime without realising it.

Once users have completed the necessary steps, they will automatically gain access to the platform's online subscription service. From there, they will be taken to the offer's page, where they can claim the first three months of the subscription for free.

In order to dispel one-month Amazon Prime subscribers from cashing in, however, there's a catch: you can only claim the first three months of this offer at first.

Despite this seemingly intuitive feature, some personalities on the site were unhappy with the update, noting that users who mute other streams within the window are no longer counted as viewers.
