Fortnite Season 8 introduces an entirely new biome in the northeastern corner of the map, which is referred to as the jungle. These locations will consist of a lot of new loot.

The development team has yet to announce everything that is happening for Season 8, but information isn't far away. Fortunately, this is Season 8 and we've been doing this a while so while there aren't any official numbers to report, we've got a pretty good idea of where 340,000 will put you. Our Fortnite BR Weekly Challenge Visit Giant Face in Desert, Jungle & Snow Locations guide will show you exactly where to find these three locations, and how to complete the weekly challenge.

Towards the end of Fortnite's Season 7, large tremors began rocking Fortnite's island, opening up fissures and cracks, and altering the way certain areas of the game looked or behaved. The first of these hard challenges is available to everyone, regardless of having purchased the Battle Pass, and asks players to visit the new Pirate Camps. The real highlight has to be the pirate dog though, because yes, please, I would like one. Players had been able to run automatically wherever they wanted in-game up until this morning.

The first of Fortnite's two new named locations, Sunny Steps is a Mayan-themed area that consists of a gathering of tiered pyramids. Damage for a direct hit on the enemy will be 100 and 50 damage within vicinity. It's also reasonable to assume that the skin will have a pirate theme, but until we get at least a few more weeks into Season 8 we won't know any more.

Other improvements include a fix for Storm King not taking damage from some weapons, Hover Turret reduced damage, Smashers reverted to their normal appearance, increased stability when placing tracks and BASE, Mimic chest despawning if blocked fixed and much more.
