Neil Lennon’s first press conference as Celtic manager

Don't get me wrong, we have plenty problems of our own.

Celtic is a club that's a huge club worldwide, a renowned club, and I loved working with the players there.

I know some people will do that, as we go along.

"It's not about me coming back, it's not about Brendan leaving, it's about Celtic winning the league and hopefully winning another cup as well".

At the start of the following campaign, 16/17, he joined Celtic, where he has been since.

"'It was an absolute honour to play for this great club, to captain the team and, of course, to become Celtic manager, a position which I cherished dearly", he said.

"I want to make a special mention to the Celtic players".

Leicester City appointed Brendan Rodgers as the Foxes' new manager on a three-year deal on Tuesday (Feb 26) as Neil Lennon returned to Celtic until the end of the season as Rodgers' successor.

Since then, Lennon has gone on to manage Bolton Wanderers and most recently Hibs, a job he left just last month.

Joining the Club's established team of First Team staff will be Assistant Manager, Chris Davies; First Team Fitness Coach, Glen Driscoll; and First Team Coach, Kolo Touré. "But we have a game on Saturday and there is still something possible", said Siewert, with the Terriers still 11 points off safety. This is an opportunity he wished to pursue and that is something we have to respect.

The Bhoys were in Scottish Premiership action at Hearts as they looked to extend their lead at the summit of the domestic table and their fans at Tynecastle Park unfurled a banner to let Rodgers know exactly what they thought of him.

"He gave the club so much and has created so many wonderful memories for the Club and our supporters". "The fact that Rangers beat Celtic just after Christmas, that's a worrying sign for Brendan Rodgers".
