Nine months after her globally televised wedding extravaganza, the 37-year-old woman now formally known as the Duchess of Sussex is finding that life in the royal fishbowl carries not just glamour and great charitable opportunities but liabilities as well.

Clooney made the comments at the Television Critics Association conference in Pasadena, California.

Morgan also implied that Meg deserves everything she gets and that the problem between Meghan and the Markles is entirely her fault, yet blames the "negative headlines" not on the media but on "Meghan's own family" because "they are the ones vilifying her." Huh?

George Clooney and his wife Amal, 47, attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in May 2018 alongside many other celebrity, royal and high profile guests.

She said Meghan has, like Princess Diana before her, probably been shocked at just how intrusive the press can be.

Meghan Markle has been urged to "lighten up" and end her "phoney war" with the media.

Meghan laughed as a relative of one of the children showed her a photo on her phone, zooming in on the image to get a closer look.

George Clooney has slammed the media for subjecting Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex to the same treatment as her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

"Daddy, it is with a heavy heart that I write this, not understanding why you have chosen to take this path, turning a blind eye to the pain you are causing", the letter reads. "We've seen how that ends".

"I can't tell you how frustrating that is", Clooney said.

Fair to say the British press's absolute obsession with covering every speck of dirt Meghan Markle treads on is approaching levels of pure insanity, and the tide against the tabloids is slowly starting to turn. "You're taking a letter from a daughter to a father and broadcasting it everywhere", the actor continued, referencing the recently released letter Meghan had written to her father, in which she begs her father to avoid the press. She died in a auto crash in 1997 when her vehicle was "being pursued at high speeds by photographers on motorbikes", the BBC reported.
