NY began to speak to teams about different trade scenarios involving Porzingis in the days leading up to Thursday.

Asked if that was true, Porzingis said, "Yes". "So we made a decision to act upon one".

The way NY are going, they are likely going to have a top pick in this year's draft.

Cuban interrupted a question for Porzingis on whether the player once considered the cornerstone of the NY franchise planned to sign long term with Dallas.

"The Knicks, meanwhile, were told Porzingis was prepared to leave the team and continue his knee rehabilitation in Spain if he was not moved by this week's league trade deadline".

Dallas feels they have two superstars now.

The Knicks were looking for salary-cap relief and young players or future first-round picks in a trade. So while the Knicks could have fielded more offers for Porzingis - possibly increasing their return in the process - the transaction with Dallas seemingly accomplished their objectives.

The Anthony Davis trade saga has swept the National Basketball Association by storm over the last week and it appears the door is open for the Milwaukee Bucks to enter the proceedings in light of some new developments reported Monday afternoon.

Some close to Durant see NY as a possible landing spot for the back-to-back NBA Finals MVP if he chooses to leave the Golden State Warriors, according to league sources.

"The restaurant sent out desserts that said "NYC will miss you" on them", said a spy.

Cuban, the Mavericks long-time owner, discussed the future of Porzingis and rookie star Doncic at a press conference Monday.

He's already dreaming of the ways to use Porzingis, a 7-foot-3 center/forward, and his prized rookie phenom Luka Doncic, together as a one-two punch in the National Basketball Association.

Porzingis has averaged 17.8 points and 7.1 rebounds over 186 career appearances.

Is this what Kristaps Porzingis meant when he said that the truth would come out?
