New Avengers: Endgame trailer airs during Super Bowl

We stan a TV themed sports game - especially since we get a new Captain Marvel movie TV spot by Marvel Studios.

While the Avengers well and alive on earth are seen in therapy (Captain America), the ones stuck in outer space (Iron Man, Nebula) are seen working on an armour and Thor is getting ready to jump out of a damaged spaceship. The first takes place as Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and War Machine (Don Cheadle) walk across a field.

As for unconfirmed spots, it's usually rare for a giant movie to have its first look during the Super Bowl, but that's exactly what Disney did with Solo: A Star Wars Story past year. But it does feature that rallying cry of the Kelly Sue DeConnick and David Lopez's initial run of the Captain Marvel comic to splendid effect: Higher.

While it's been awfully quiet these last few weeks as far as Avengers: Endgame reveals go, Marvel Studios is still being pretty stingy with actual footage from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel. Not only did this scene edit everyone out in the original Avengers: Endgame trailer, but there's also another odd gap in the second trailer.

While Thanos left behind plenty of emotional wreckage after Avengers: Infinity War, that doesn't mean our favorite Marvel superheroes have totally given up hope.

We see New York City looking v. sad and empty, nearly post-apocalyptic, and a sign that reads: 'Where do we go, now that they're gone?'

Avengers: Endgame hits April 26, which gives all of us a little under two months to emotionally prepare.
