Maya Renee Maxwell, 26, who was arrested on January 11 in Muskegon on a Bell County warrant charging tampering with evidence, admitted that "she was involved with leaving Swearingin's vehicle in Austin in hopes to hide it from law enforcement", a warrant affidavit released Wednesday says. The two were last seen alive on January 4 before their bodies were found in Clearview, Okla., on January 15.

At the time, he was in a MI jail waiting to be extradited to Texas for allegedly breaking into Scott's house this past August.

The woman who voluntarily admitted she drove a Swearingin's vehicle to Austin with the hope of concealing it from law enforcement agencies was extradited to Bell County.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office's initial tweet about the escape said Marks was facing three 'pending murder charges, ' but it didn't immediately respond to requests for further information about those charges. He has not been charged in the deaths of Scott and Swearingin, who were reported missing from Temple on January 4.

Multiple law enforcement agencies in Texas are looking for an escaped prisoner who has three pending murder charges.

Scott had filed a protective order against Marks in July, the station reported, following claims of physical abuse.

Maxwell was returned to Bell County late Tuesday night.

With Hill County, the company has had a contract with the department for 60 days. She remains in the Bell County Jail with bond set at $500,000. KCEN-TV said Maxwell is accused of taking Swearingin's auto to Austin in an attempt to hide it.

April Pease, Marks' ex-girlfriend and mother of a son, was reported missing March 17, 2009, according to The Charley Project. Few details are available in her case. He had a relationship with Scott, who later asked a judge for a protective order after Marks reportedly threatened her and said he'd gotten away with murder in the past. She had a tattoo on her left buttock, one on her abdomen and a mole near her right eye. She yelled for her daughter to call 911, and he told her to make her daughter hang up the phone. Marks isn't wearing a shirt, as law enforcement found it after he fled.
