Michy Batshuayi Looks Set To Move To Crystal Palace

The report claims that Batshuayi is seen as a decent addition to the Toffees but they can not sign him on loan.

Michy Batshuayi has reportedly agreed terms with Crystal Palace and is set to complete a loan move to Selhurst Park for the remainder of the season.

Batshuayi has started just four La Liga games on loan at Valencia this season, scoring only twice in 21 appearances in all competitions.

It had been widely reported that Chelsea have reached an agreement with both Betis and West Ham, but it now appears that Tottenham are trying to bring in the player.

But Spurs have chose to not pursue a deal despite the injury to Harry Kane keeping the England captain out until March.

They report that the former Leicester midfielder is the Hammers' top target on transfer deadline day as Manuel Pellegrini looks to beef up his options in the engine room.

Marco Silva's side already have Kurt Zouma on loan, and there are restrictions on the number of players one club can sign from another.

A permanent move away would make sense for the Belgian, however, we have failed with some transfers going on to become big names.

It is hard to know whether to admire the Belgian for his bravery at demanding such excessive wages, or cry at the belief that he thinks he warrants that sort of pay packet, but at this stage it looks as though he could be staying at Chelsea.

Palace have barely been mentioned, but BBC Sport's David Ornstein claims that Roy Hodgson has been interested in signing Batshuayi all month and has made his move at the eleventh hour.
