What do you think of Meghan's outfit?

ITV News royal editor Chris Ship reported via Twitter on Monday that Markle told one woman in the crowd while visiting the English town of Birkenhead with Prince Harry that she is 6 months pregnant, and told another woman the due date is around April.

The 37-year-old has always been an advocate for animal welfare - she makes a point of eating and dressing ethically - so it makes sense that the Queen gave the patronage to the newly minted Duchess.

When she chatted to a group of pensioners from a local dementia care home who receive petting dog visits organised by Mayhew, she was introduced to Gothrine McEachrom, known as Peggy, who said: "You're a fat lady".

Then, she joyfully added that Meghan was a "fat lady" to which the mum-to-be laughed and answered, "I'll take it!"

The Duchess of Sussex just further cemented her status as a global style muse on her first solo engagement of 2019.

Today marked her first official as patron to the charity, but she has been visiting them privately since autumn past year.

To finish the high fashion ensemble, the 37-year-old wore $940 Rupert Sanderson block heels with winter-ready tights and a $890 Aspinal of London bag.

In September a year ago, Meghan and Prince Harry adopted a black labrador rescue dog named Oz, to join them in their Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.

Meghan occasionally sported red lipstick in her pre-duchess days, but we haven't seen her in anything other than pink and nude tones since she officially became a royal.
