The Assistant will show you the pricing, availability and the works, which you can book using Google Pay.

With support for 27 languages at launch, you can now just holler "Hey Google" and say "Be my Spanish interpreter". Some of these languages are Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Thai, and Korean.

Google says the Google Assistant is now built into more than 1 billion devices, including Android phones. Much like you would when you cast content to a display or speaker.

At CES 2019, Google yesterday announced a number of new partnerships and features for Google Assistant.

Predictably, Android users will be able to get their hands on a few more features than iOS users, including sending messages via Whatsapp, Google Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Viber, and other third-party messaging applications. The company will offer more information on the platform later this year.

Unfortunately, the American tech giant has not yet discussed plans to add the feature to the Google Assistant on smartphones.

Language problems goodbye: Google makes its voice assistant to the Live Translator

Google is going all in on its AI assistant.

"Addressing the frustration that still often accompanies smart home device setup and use - especially during that all-important initial setup - is a big step for any company seeking to expand its footprint into the smart home", he told TechNewsWorld. With Google Assistant, you can ask Google to perform HumX actions, like locate a vehicle, access trip history, set a speed alert, and get a vehicle's fuel status.

At the end of 2017, Sonso told fans that it planned to integrate Assistant into its Sonos One speaker by the end of 2018.

Google has been working with Anker and JBL to build the Assistant into vehicle accessories so that users can connect smartphones to their auto stereos through Bluetooth or AUX. For cars without Bluetooth, the Anker Roav Bolt and JBL Link Drive can connect via any 3.5mm AUX port and provide benefits such as better listening and hearing capabilities even when in traffic or listening to loud music.

The announcement is not super flashy, but it's an important one for Google as it battles Amazon's Alexa.

The smart clock, which is slated to go on sale in the spring, marks Google's latest foray into smart displays. The new feature will first be available on United Airlines' domestic flights.
