Here are five of the top moments from last night's victory.

The Tigers are coming off their second national title in three seasons with a 44-16 win over Alabama on Monday at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

For a while, catching Alabama has felt hopeless. The Crimson Tide beat the Tigers in last year's semifinals before beating Georgia in the title game.

Midway through the second quarter, with Clemson leading 21-16 and Alabama moving down the field again, Tagovailoa attempted another deep pass but missed badly, getting intercepted by junior defensive back Trayvon Mullen, who returned the ball 47 yards to set up another Clemson touchdown, putting the Tigers up 28-16.

Clemson beat Alabama, 44-16, to give Dabo Swinney his second national title win since taking over the program. The two teams opened as the favorites to win the national championship in 2019, and are likely on a collision course for a fifth straight meeting in next year's playoff. The only problem for Alabama is the team that shellacked them Monday night likely will be there waiting for them.

It's pretty rare to see a Saban-coached team get manhandled.

Ross, an Alabama native who spurned his home state school for Clemson, made several outstanding and timely grabs. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the No. 2 Clemson Tigers in the postseason for the fourth consecutive year.
