Netflix's 'Black Mirror' Movie Has Over Five Hours Of Footage

As the episode progresses, viewers are invited to make the lead character's choices for him - decisions that send the plot in different directions. And that's all that can really be said without giving away the game.

The official synopsis from Netflix reads: "There are choices to be made, challenges to overcome, dangers to encounter and, as always in life (and Black Mirror), consequences to be had".

Making video games turns out to be a unsafe profession in the 1980s-set Bandersnatch, the first standalone feature film based on Charlie Brooker's dystopian science-fiction Netflix series Black Mirror.

This guy also happens to be a programmer working on Bandersnatch, an adventure game based on a fictional book by author Jerome F. Davies.

Netflix's latest Black Mirror "event", a film titled Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, launched on the streaming service on Friday. In Nohzdyve, you take control of a blocky character as it falls down a never-ending gap between two building while popping as many balloons as possible and avoiding walls, air conditioners and other pixelated objects.

"Bandersnatch" is worth watching - or perhaps studying - as a snapshot of where interactivity might be heading.

"Bandersnatch" is the third episode of Black Mirror that's explicitly about games, following the third season's 'Playtest' and last year's 'USS Callister'.

The rumor is viewers will have up to five hours of Bandersnatch content to watch once the movie goes live. He may even try to resist your commands, or obey them in a zombie-like fashion, with little say in the matter.

The long-rumored "Choose Your Own Adventure" episode of Black Mirror has finally arrived, which means all is revealed right? Since this is a Black Mirror production, the lines between fantasy and reality are soon horrifyingly blurred.

"Black Mirror" Season 4 was very well-received.
