LeBron James gets best of final meeting with Dwyane Wade

Vardon suggests that James may have seriously taken the Knicks into account but the fact they were languishing at the bottom of the conference and had a clogged cap situation didn't help New York's cause.

Wade and James, who hugged when it was over, teamed up with the Heat in 2010 to win two championships while reaching four consecutive NBA Finals, and they spent half of last season together in Cleveland.

Before the two could meet one last time on the court, they got together in the weight room for a final workout together in L.A., as the Heat's social media team captured.

James and Wade won two National Basketball Association championships and four straight Eastern Conference titles together in Miami, along with their Olympic gold medals from Beijing. "But it just showed the kind of friendship we have, with him coming".

Wade scored 15 points off the bench for Miami, whose top scorer was Justise Winslow with 28 points.

"It's bitter sweet man", said James. "We are going to miss Flash (Wade's nickname), man".

He had no difficulty imposing himself, adding eight rebounds and three assists in an addition to his double-digit points tally.

"I'm going to be retired for so long while he's still playing, people are going to forget me", Wade said.

LeBron didn't miss. Dwyane didn't really expect him to.

James ultimately chose to leave the Cavaliers for the Lakers in July, with Wade announcing two months later that this season would be his 16th and final National Basketball Association season. That's for sure. One of the greatest players to ever play this game. The two close friends then exchanged jerseys, a practice that Wade has been doing regularly as he continues on with his "One Last Dance" tour. The report says James didn't specifically mean NY and that he was referring to venues with the history and glamour of the two arenas. I didn't care who won the game. I appreciate more than I can express in words what he did for me when I went down to Miami.
