President Trump's son Eric put out a tweet Monday night accusing George Conway of "utter disrespect" toward his wife, White House aide Kellyanne Conway, apparently because of Conway's public comments criticizing the administration.

The filing said that even as Cohen was preparing his responses to congressional committees, he "remained in close and regular contact with White House-based staff and legal counsel to Client-1 [Trump]". "I engaged in politics", Stone said.

In addition, early Tuesday, Conway retweeted a post from The Washington Post that examined whether Trump obstructed justice with his Stone tweet.

"We're going to say to the Office of Professional Responsibility and the inspector general that the way these prosecutors on Mueller's team behaved with me, and the deal they gave me, which was fraudulent, I believe demands a criminal investigation", he said.

When Mueller releases details of the occasions on which Manafort lied to investigators, which could come within weeks, it could indicate just what evidence he might have accumulated against Trump and his inner circle.

But Stone insisted that he would never testify against his longtime friend.

He said he had not been contacted by Robert Mueller, the special prosecutor investigating possible collusion or coordination between Trump's campaign team and Russian Federation.

First, Trump went after his former attorney, Michael Cohen, who asked a judge to spare him prison time because he has been cooperating with the special counsel.

President Donald Trump is calling for a "full and complete" sentence for his longtime lawyer Michael Cohen.

It was revealed last week that Trump spoke more extensively during the presidential election with Cohen about the proposed Trump Tower project in Moscow than Cohen admitted to Congress previous year, which Cohen said while pleading guilty Thursday in federal court to a charge from Mueller's office. On Monday, the president wrote that Cohen did "TERRIBLE" things and that Mueller and "his out of control band of Angry Democrats, don't want the truth, they only want lies".
