A newly released video shows a gender reveal party that sparked a wildfire previous year in Arizona.

Apparently he loaded the gender-revealing target with too much of the substance, however, as it exploded and spewed fire on the dried-out grasslands below, to the horror of onlookers. He also has to pay more than $8 million in restitution.

The intended explosion was detonated as part of a gender reveal party.

The video shows an explosive-laden package standing in a dry, grassy field, with the words "boy" and "girl" painted on it.

Video captures dramatic moment that caused Sawmill Fire

A shocking video, obtained by the Arizona Daily Star, shows the very moment that the deadly Sawmill Fire got started. A man's voice yells, "start packing up! start packing up!"

Well, the US Forest Service has now released footage from the scene.

The then-off duty Border Patrol agent reported the fire immediately and admitted to being the cause of ignition.

One of the commenters where the video is posted on YouTube, wrote, "I feel bad for the poor baby boy who's inheriting those genes". The weather station is at 7,100 feet and the location of the party where the fire started is most likely around 4,000 feet. He agreed to a sentence of five years of probation and will make a public service announcement with the Forest Service about the cause of the blaze. When he shot at, and hit, the target, he caused an explosion which ultimately set off a massive forest fire.
