Deepika and Ranveer share official wedding photos and break the internet

Ranveer and Deepika have been in a relationship for the last six years.

Hindi film director Karan Johar, a friend of the couple, tweeted his congratulations on Wednesday.

The wedding ceremony followed for four hours after which the couple enjoyed a luncheon comprising of authentic Konkani Mangalorean cuisine for which the ambience was decorated with exotic flowers. "Such a stunning gorgeous and attractive couple". She wrote, "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a lovely journey together. Here's to a lifetime of love and joy!" he wrote on Wednesday.

Deepika and Ranveer are believed to have asked guests to donate to The Live Love Laugh Foundation, which is run by Deepika, in lieu of wedding presents.

The property, which has 75 rooms, has been booked till November 17, which is also the day that the resort closes for the season. The average cost of a room is 400 euros (around Rs 33,000).

The couple, who dated for six years before getting hitched in a twin wedding ceremony on December 14 and 15, has been extremely particular about privacy and security and so, there were nearly no photos of their wedding festivities which took place this week at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy.

They reportedly wore Sabyasachi outfits for their big day. Media reports peg the total estimate cost of staying at Villa Balbianello at Rs 1,73,25,000 for the entire week.

For the Sindhi wedding, Deepika will make a classic lovely bride in a red ensemble while her groom, Ranveer will colour-coordinate with her in a red sherwani. One in Bengaluru on November 21, which is Deepika's hometown, and two grand receptions in Mumbai.
