Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to wear Sabyasachi for their wedding

The duo is now at Lake Como in Italy, basking in the joy of their pre-wedding festivities. Seems like it was no joke to them!

Ranveer and Deepika announced to get married through their social media accounts last month.

Ranveer's stylist, Nitasha, took to her Twitter account to share an update of a ceremony that was held on Monday evening. "Couldn't stop my tears, but these were tears of happiness".

The couple will be tying the knot in the breathtaking locales of Lake Como on November 14 and 15. Responding to the gesture, Deepika Padukone also sung songs from some of Ranveer's film like Befikre and others. They have also sent an e-invite to all the guests, requesting them to carry it. This code on the card will be checked for an entry for security reasons.

Know this, Lake Como is holiday home to the creme de la creme of celebs, including George Clooney and Kim Kardashian.


The couple is set to solemnise their relationship in an oomph-filled wedding in Italy on November 14 and 15. The cuisines and dishes will match the style of the wedding traditions. The reports also suggest that the couple has signed bonds with chefs to prepare original dishes and will not be repeated anywhere else.

For the desserts and the wedding cake, chefs from Switzerland have been roped in to join the catering team.

While the couple has kickstarted the wedding rituals with a sangeet and mehendi ceremony earlier in the day, tomorrow is the big day for which all their fans, followers and well-wishers are waiting with bated breaths.
