Obama aims to boost Wisconsin, Michigan Democratic turnout

Former President Barack Obama criticized President Donald Trump's tenure in office in a fiery speech that took aim at him and other Republicans for "making stuff up".

Sayoc's arrest followed an intense four-day manhunt sparked by the discovery of bombs concealed in packages addressed to such leading Democratic figures as former U.S. President Barack Obama and former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whom Trump defeated in the 2016 presidential race.

"I think I've been toned down if you want to know the truth".

"If you look at what happened to Steve Scalise, that was from a supporter of a different party", Trump said. The GOP and Trump relentlessly went after Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server. "It shouldn't be Democratic or Republican to say you don't punish political opponents or threaten the freedom of the press just because you don't like what they say or write about you", Obama said. Obama said Republicans have spent eight years trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act. He just makes it up!'

As explosive devices were sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation forensics lab in Quantico, investigators there detected DNA and a fingerprint found on the device intended for Waters and, working with local law enforcement, matched it late Thursday night to a sample of Sayoc's DNA that had been previously collected, Wray said. "'This is awful.' 'Hilary's emails!' We were hearing Hillary's emails everywhere", Obama said Friday at a campaign rally in Milwaukee.

Earlier on Friday, Trump made clear that he thinks this week's bomb scares were meant to throw off Republican momentum ahead of the November 6 midterm election. "This is terrible". 'This is a national security crisis.' They didn't care about emails and you know how you know? "Because if they did, they'd be up in arms right now as the Chinese are listening to the president's iPhone that he leaves in his golf cart", he continued. In Washington, they have racked up enough indictments to field a football team.

"Their promise to drain the swamp, that was not on the up and up", Obama added, "Nobody in my administration got indicted".

"I'm hopeful MI", he said.

"We need leaders who will actually stand up for what's right, regardless of party", Obama said to cheers from the crowd. "I'm hopeful because out of this political darkness, I'm seeing a great awakening".
