Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for Ramsey in January, but the player says he intends to stay for the rest of the season and achieve "something special".

Talks between the Gunners and the 27-year-old Welshman broke down last month after the club withdrew a contract offer which had been on the table for several months.

Contract talks between the two parties have recently broken down, feulling speculation of links with Liverpool and United.

Since his departure, the manager has yet to secure another job and surprisingly refused to comment on the happenings at the club.

Arsenal could consider selling Ramsey in the mid-season window to ensure that they do not lose him on a free transfer come the end of the season.

Corriere Dello Sport has claimed that Gazidis wants to take Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey with him to the Serie A side.

"That's a decision that they [Arsenal] have made, things happen in football and you just have to get on with it and carry on playing the best you can", Ramsey told the media.

The Caerphilly-born midfielder is reportedly in the crosshairs of both Manchester United and Liverpool, with both clubs weighing up January moves for the playmaker. "We thought we were in a position where we had agreed a deal but that's no longer the case", he said.

However, Ramsey has reiterated that he will remain at Arsenal for the remainder of the season after admitting that he felt a new deal was agreed with the north London club. You need everyone as fresh as can be, really, to share the load, so in that sense I feel it is certainly the strongest squad I've been part of.
