Overnight, any remaining scattered showers will diminish into mostly cloudy skies with a low of 70. Slight chances for rain will stay in the forecast through the end of the week and into the weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid/upper 70s for highs. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible during the day, especially during the afternoon.

We are looking to start the work week on Monday with another drop in temperature to more seasonable high temps in the low 80s.

The timing of these storms is a good thing, as their arrival earlier in the day should spare us from widespread severe weather.

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. This action will be coming at us from southwest to northeast and is ahead of a strong cold front. This cooler air will stick around for the extended period with highs Thursday in the low/mid 60s, and 50s for Friday and Saturday.

A cold front is still expected to move through Tuesday evening with cooler temperatures by daybreak Tuesday.
