It connects to your auto or phone via Bluetooth, and comes with a dashboard mount to stay in place. The Echo Auto will use your smartphone for data to stream the music you want to listen to. If only the EchoDot's 3.5mm socket doubled as a mini-TOSLINK digital output. The gadget lets users access Alexa inside their vehicle.

The new Echo Dot is the third generation model of Amazon's smart speaker integrated with Alexa. When you look at product like the £699 Sonos Sub, the Echo Sub will always seem good value for money. There's no word on a general release date yet, but it's now half price at just $25.00. Among things like being able to display recipe instructions from Amazon's Meal Kit, it also can connect you to YouTube videos on the run too as it is no longer supported natively by Google on Amazon devices. To do its thing, the Recast needs a direct HD antenna connection and a device that can use the Fire TV app. The larger device could be priced around $400, while the smaller one could go for around $300, the people said. It can be paired with an Echo to create a more robust sound system with powerful bass. Another bundle features the Echo Sub with two Echo Plus devices for $249.97. Deep sound waves will hit users' homes on October 11.

Global spending on smarthome devices such as speakers, thermostats and lights will hit $96 billion this year thanks to new gadgets from companies like Amazon, Alphabet Inc.'s Google, ADT Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co., and falling prices, according to Strategy Analytics. Users can then ask Alexa to perform tasks like turning a connected device on and off or turning on multiple devices at once. The Ring Stick Up Cam will hit the markets by December. The camera can send notifications if it detects motion and can be used for real-time video chat. Amazon is determined to get Alexa into every corner of your home. Clearly, Alexa can have a huge impact for drivers, since so many of its functions are voice-controlled and hands-free.

Portal will basically use Facebook's AI platform to recognise people in the frame and follow people as they move around the room (which isn't creepy at all) and will also have Amazon's Alexa voice assistant integration. The microwave can deliver 700 W of power, has a capacity of 0.7 ft³, and will set buyers back $60 when it ships on November 14.
