Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again berated a British diver involved in the rescue of 12 children and their coach from a Thailand cave, as a "child rapist", the media reported.

Musk also claimed he had not yet been sued by Unsworth and added: 'As for this alleged threat of a lawsuit, which magically appeared when I raised the issue (nothing was sent or raised beforehand), I fucking hope he sues me'.

Musk asked for the emails to be left off the record, however, BuzzFeed News published them in keeping with the journalistic practice that states both parties must agree before a statement is officially off the record.

According to Reuters, an unnamed police officer in Chiang Rai, where Unsworth has lived for seven years, said no charges or complaints had ever been filed against the Briton.

Unsworth, who attended Thursday's gala reception, declined to comment on matters pertaining to Musk.

Musk made the unfounded claim after Unsworth was part of an worldwide team that saved 12 young footballers and their coach from the Tham Luang cave complex.

Unsworth was part of the global team that freed the 12 young footballers and their coach from the Tham Luang cave complex two weeks after they went inside on June 23 and got trapped.

In July Musk lashed out at Unsworth, branding him a "pedo", which he followed up with an apology. "The fault is mine and mine alone". Musk had inserted himself into the drama by promising to build a miniature submarine that rescuers could use to float the kids out one by one, then showed up at the cave complex in Thailand with a working prototype in tow-but in the end, authorities reportedly deemed it "not practical" and opted for more conventional means to get the team to safety.

BANGKOK-It's show time for the 12 boys and their 25-year old soccer coach whose ordeal of being trapped for nearly three weeks in a flooded cave in northern Thailand riveted the world.

The diver from St Albans in Hertfordshire described Mr Musk's allegations that he had a child bride and had moved to an area notorious for child sex trafficking as "100 per cent" untrue.

Unsworth denied the accusations through his lawyer L Lin Wood on Wednesday, calling them "vindictive and vicious lies". His conduct demonstrates that his recklessness is intentional and created to harm Mr Unsworth'.

The lawyer also said in an email to the Guardian on Tuesday, "Elon Musk's campaign of publishing vile and false accusations against Mr Unsworth is inexcusable".

Musk signed off his first email to Buzzfeed by saying that he "f***ing hope [s]" Unsworth sues him.
