Speaking after the game, the Gunners longest serving player Ramsey believes his side are constantly improving under Emery and he expects the North London club to continue to progress once they return to Premier League action after the worldwide break.

Lacazette played slightly behind Aubameyang to begin with down in Wales, but when he went up alongside him the Londoners looked a lot better, and there will be plenty of calls for the Frenchman to partner the Gabon forward in future matches, even though playing two up front is not now in vogue. "Everyone can take pleasure to watch us play", he said.

Lacazette could next feature for Arsenal when they face Newcastle on September 15 (3pm).

'I think we won just two games in 2018 away from home.

"It is good for the confidence".

"Like I said before, at the end of the day you want to try and get your best players on the pitch".

Speaking further the forward explained the importance of not playing every game.

'It is always good to play with good players and he deserved to score against Cardiff as he has worked hard from the beginning of the season.

"It is not because of one game that I will play every game".

The pair shone for victory at Cardiff City on Sunday.

Unai Emery collected his second victory as Arsenal manager thanks to a fine strike from Alexandre Lacazette in a 3-2 success at Cardiff yesterday.

Gabon global Pierre Aubameyang increased the scoreline for the Gunners in the 62nd minute and it was Lacazette that provided the assist.

Danny Ward cancelled out Auba's strike before Lacazette netted an 81st-minute victor following some fine work by Lucas Torreira.
