Omarosa's Lara Trump Tape, "An Attempt to Censor Me"

Lara Trump said in a statement that Manigault-Newman was offered a job on the campaign because the Trump family had no idea about the basis of her dismissal from the White House.

Manigault-Newman told MSNBC she saw the offer as hush money.

Donald Trump has told advisers he wants his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, to have his former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman arrested, Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman reports.

"Everything, everybody, positive, right?"

Manigault-Newman said Lara Trump "was very specific that it was DJT" - using the president's initials - "that wanted her to make that offer for me".

Mrs. Trump said in her statement that the Trump 2020 campaign reached out due to their relationship with Ms. Manigault Newman and that the discussions about her role were stretched out over a week. Manigault-Newman is friendly with Clyburn's daughter, former Federal Communications Commission head Mignon Clyburn.

Ivanka Trump does not like being the butt of a joke and apparently hates "Saturday Night Live" as much as her father, Donald Trump. Wilson tweeted Wednesday in response to Trump's tweet about Manigault Newman, "@realDonaldTrump There are many names we can call you: "Racist.

Both she and Trump have denied the claims made in the book by Omarosa, who was sacked after a year in the White House's communications department in January. "I know you were making 179 at the White House, and I think we can work something out where we keep you right along those lines", Trump continued.

Manigault Newman provided the audio to MSNBC.

"Um, specifically, let me see, I haven't even added up the numbers". Manigault-Newman played the entire tape for the producers of NBC and this is what they chose to air.

"President Trump is well known for giving people opportunities to advance in their careers and lives over the decades, but wrong is wrong, and a direct violation of an agreement must be addressed and the violator must be held accountable", the statement said. Manigault-Newman also attended two historically black colleges, and Clyburn's support for those institutions is a major part of his legislative portfolio.

"When Omarosa was sacked by the White House chief of staff, my entire family was concerned for her because we had no idea about the basis of her dismissal", Mrs. Trump said, "We still wanted her on our team because we cared about her so much". In the tape, Lara Trump says, "But we were talking about, like, 15K a month". I'd love to know where it is.

"Listen, obviously, with, the New York Times article and stuff, you know ... they wrote about you". "She went on: "[I am] absolutely shocked and saddened by her betrayal and violation on a deeply personal level".
