Christopher Robin denied China release as Winnie the Pooh ban continues

Mission: Impossible Fallout is out in theaters and PUBG Mobile has forged a collaboration with the movie that will surely pique some interest of fans.

The sequel added another $35.0 million in receipts this weekend, bringing its cumulative haul to $124.5 million.

Tom Cruise easily conquered Winnie the Pooh at the domestic box office.

With Mission: Impossible - Fallout update the PUBG players will experience an all-new background music and customisable parachutes themed to the film.

The live-action/CGI hybrid Disney flick came in second place this weekend, earning an estimated $25 million over the course of three days - around $10 million below initial projections. Ewan McGregor stars as the eponymous Christopher Robin, while Jim Cummings returns to voice Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and Brad Garrett joins as Eeyore.

In third was another new release, Lionsgate s "The Spy Who Dumped Me", at $12.4 million.

With a $9 million gross this weekend, "Mamma Mia!" It has earned 91.33 million dollars in North America through Sunday. The musical has banked an additional $139 million from global markets.

Finally, in its 25week of theatrical release, Disney's Black Panther finally crossed the $700 million mark at the box office.

While many believe that the censors are behind Christoper Robin's banning, other industry professionals claim that it more to do with the size and scope of the film and the massive number of studio tentpole pictures flooding the market.
