Chelsea seriously consider £100m Real Madrid bid for Willian & Thibaut Courtois

We thought that Eden Hazard was top of Real Madrid's summer transfer wish-list, but it looks as though they may have been priced out of a move for the Belgian.

Real seem to have found a way around that by making a combined offer incorporating Courtois, who previously spent time in Madrid on loan with Atletico and still has family based in the city.

Over the four seasons he has appeared between the posts for Chelsea, Courtois has made over 150 appearances and won the Golden Glove at the end of the 2016/17 season.

Pickford only joined the Toffees from Sunderland last season in a deal worth £30 million and the same report claims Everton will not budge to sell the goalkeeper, who starred for England at the World Cup.

Barcelona have failed with multiple offers for Willian ranging from £50m to £65m which saw them turn their attention to Bordeaux winger Malcom earlier this week.

But they may face some tough competition for the Brazilian's signature now that Real Madrid have entered the race to sign him.

And Chelsea are close to letting the pair move to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to the Daily Mail.

The Spanish club have been chasing Courtois for a number of months after repeatedly falling flat in their pursuit of United 'keeper David de Gea.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has once again insisted that he would like to keep star attacker Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge next season. Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain could also make the switch to London after Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Juventus.
