TMZ reports that controversial NY rapper Tekashi69 was hospitalized today when unknown assailants apparently kidnapped him during a robbery attempt. "Charge it to the streets".

The rapper was driving home from shooting a music video in Brooklyn at around 4am when the attack occurred. It was then claimed that he came to in the back of a moving vehicle where the men told him that if he didn't give them money and jewelry they would kill him. After pulling into his driveway, two of the suspects made their way inside the home and took an undetermined amount of jewelry and cash, authorities say.

The gunmen stole $750k in jewelry and between $15k and $20k in cash.

The gunman drove away with Hernandez still in the back vehicle, sources tell TMZ, but he was able to jump out and run away. Reportedly the mother of Tekashi's daughter and child were in the home but were unharmed. After the home robbery the gunmen allegedly drove off with 6ix9ine in the auto before he managed to escape, flee and get help from a civilian.

The outlet claimed he flagged down another driver and begged them to call 911. "The stranger called 911 and then asked 69 to get out of the auto at an intersection", TMZ continues.

He was reportedly transported to a hospital by ambulance where it has been claimed he's received various tests, including a CT scan. Our sources say Tekashi then told cops he managed to escape and reported the incident to cops, but then became uncooperative. Instead, they think it's a stunt to promote his new collaboration with Nicki Minaj. He also asked the Pink Barbz if she still loved him after he got robbed. Earlier this month, Tekashi was arrested over the 2017 choking a 16-year-old in Texas.
