Projected lottery pick Michael Porter Jr. put a second pro day scheduled for Friday in Chicago on hold, with both ESPN.com and Yahoo Sports reporting the former Missouri forward has a sore hip.

One of the biggest mysteries heading into the upcoming National Basketball Association draft is the stock of former Missouri player Michael Porter Jr.

A back injury revealed in late November derailed Porter's freshman season, forcing him to have microdiscectomy surgery on his L3 and L4 spinal disks.

Although Porter Jr. will not be able to showcase his talent on Friday, it is believed that the Pro Day will be rescheduled depending on how he responds to treatment over the next few days.

None of the 19 prospects invited to attend the first round of Thursday's National Basketball Association draft at the Barclays Center in New York City are foreign-league players, ESPN reported Saturday.

It's a who's who of the NBA Draft class of 2018. The objective for the workout is primarily medical, after the 6-10 forward played only three games for Missouri last season. He returned for the SEC Tournament but played in only one game as the Tigers lost their opener to Georgia. "But a conservative doctor could still [be concerned about] what might happen down the road".
