Premier League fixtures: Arsenal face Man City, Chelsea in first two games

The reigning champions travel to the Emirates for new Arsenal manager Unai Emery's first competitive match in charge.

The exact date of the game will be confirmed when television broadcasting schedules are drawn up.

The first Manchester derby (City at home) is on November 10th.

Meanwhile, some Spurs supporters were frustrated after discovering that their first home game at their new stadium will not take place until the middle of September.

Liverpool discovered that they would be hosting West Ham on the opening day of the season before signing off against Premier League new boys Wolves in May.

BT Sport is the only place showing exclusively live Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup football all season long in 2018/19.

The fixtures were released at 9am on Thursday morning and pretty much every fan of every club, will have looked to see who they they'll be playing first, then the next few fixtures, before moving on to see who you've got at Christmas/New Year, then the final game of the season.


Spurs made the journey across north London to the national stadium last term while their successor ground to White Hart Lane was being built.

The Blues' defence of the Premier League title kicks off with one of the toughest of tests - a trip to Arsenal.

Chelsea will be pleased with the opening run of fixtures, with only Arsenal and Liverpool featuring from the top six clubs.

Championship-winners Wolves begin their return to the Premier League at home to Everton before matches away to Leicester and West Ham bookend the visit of Manchester City to Molineux.

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, is furious with the Premier League board for giving Liverpool a more favourable series of fixtures than the Red Devils.

Fulham's first game back in the Premier League sees former boss Roy Hodgson make the short trip across London with his Crystal Palace side.
