Highs in the 50s are expected Monday and Tuesday, with an overnight low of 39 degrees.

Tuesday - A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., and some of the storms could be severe.

Tuesday, May 1 is expected to be sunny skies, with the high to be near 20°C/68°F and the low to be near 18°C/65°F, according to Weather Underground.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. Prevailing northwest winds up to 10 miles per hour shifting to the northeast after midnight.

Outdoor wildfire dangers could abate by mid-week in the Madison area, with good chances for showers and thunderstorms developing.

Today: Sunny - high near 86, breezy with a south wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the pm gusting as high as 29 mph.

Wednesday night: A 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1 a.m., low around 57.

Thursday will turn cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain, but the temperature will remain warm with high around 81 degrees. Thunderstorms are possible after noon.

Each day will be dry and warm, each night will be clear and cool.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 79. Partly sunny, with a high near 63. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 71.

Saturday night - A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low around 50.
