Iranian army generals threaten to wipe out Israel by 2043

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran saying that the Israelis would fight those who tried to harm them.

On Friday, he told a festive post-Independence Day cabinet meeting, "We hear the threats from Iran". "We can target our enemies' vital interests wherever we want". "They will pay a heavy price", Netanyahu said. "They are within the range of fire".

As tensions rise with Tehran over its escalating presence in Syria and purported willingness to act directly against the Jewish state, the Israel Air Force (IAF) announced that it was cancelling its participation in the US-run "Red Flag" drill in Alaska next month. "The only way for you to escape will be to the sea".

Observers view those threats as serious and could lead to a direct risky clash, given there is no third force to ease the tension between the two.

"There is a huge gap between his words and the actions of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which advances an army against Israel with the stated goal of destroying the State of Israel", according to Netanyahu. He called for those who are on the Northern borders to think carefully about what they are doing, indicating Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. "The IDF is ready for its mission and the nation will stand", he added.

While not claiming responsibility for the T-4 strike, Israel has restated a policy of preventing Iran setting up a Syrian garrison.

Israel has not officially commented on the attack.

"I do not believe that we are headed towards regional war but I do believe that unfortunately, Israel has continued its violations with worldwide law, hoping to be able to do it with impunity because of the USA support and trying to find smokescreens to hide behind", said Zarif, Xinhua reported.

Last week, the New York Times quoted an Israeli military source who admitted that Israel was behind a recent attack on a Syrian airbase that reportedly left a number of Iranian military personnel dead. It was then published that it was "calling the Israeli reserve was a mistake, as a result of a computer error".

"Iran is the enemy of us all-of Israel, the Arab world, Civilization", he stressed. "It openly speaks about liquidating Israel in the 21st century". Israel had said the incident was tantamount to Iran's entry into direct military confrontation with Israel. However, he noted that the policy of controlling "flames" contains a large amount of risk.

Iran has vowed to exact vengeance on Israel. Russian Federation has no interest in a confrontation between Iran and Israel at present time, as it would suspend and possibly end all agreements and compromises reached by Russian Federation in Syria so far.
