Teams may hold one mandatory minicamp for veteran players, which must occur during Phase Three of the offseason program.

Teams with new head coaches - the Raiders, Cardinals, Bears, Lions, Colts, Giants and Titans - are permitted to conduct voluntary veteran minicamps as early as this week.

This is only Phase One of the three-phase offseason, which includes Phase Two (on-field work without helmets) and Phase Three (OTAs).

We'll be sure to also update you all on the Jags' training camp dates once they become available. The first phase is classroom work with coaches and strength and conditioning work on the football field. The Rams, however, will begin their offseason program on April 16. The Browns have not announced dates for their rookie minicamp, but it has been held the second weekend after the draft during head coach Hue Jackson's two seasons.

In just two short weeks the offseason programs officially begin for the Houston Texans.

Teams are allowed a total of 10 organized team activities (OTAs) during Phase Three. The team can also have separated practices with the offense, defense and special teams, but no live contact is permitted. Once again, no live contact is permitted during those OTA practices, however, 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are allowed to take place per the rules in the CBA.

A three-day minicamp, the only workouts players are required to attend, will be June 12-14.
