Judging the new American Idol judges

The "American Idol" reboot kicks off this weekend, and new judge Katy Perry may be your best reason to watch.

Watching that last scene as well as one or two others - let me just say here "alpacas" - actually made me feel something inside my wizened old TV watcher's chest, a warm and fuzzy kind of nostalgia for a once-classic show getting at least a little bit of its groove back. "It's disgusting", she admits. "So I'm excited for the people who are talented and have a dream and don't know any other way to make it". "But who cares?" She then invites fellow judges Lionel Richie to "touch it" as Luke Bryan stares in shock.

North Texans are no strangers to seeing hometown folks on a national stage, specifically the one on "American Idol", which has jumpstarted the careers of several locals, including the show's first victor, Kelly Clarkson, who hails from Burleson.

As for their collective approach to judging these new generation of contestants, Perry said to expect brutal honesty as their mission is clear: "The stakes are high, especially these days in the music industry".

I wondered if this might be related to his former stylist, Suzie Hardie, saying he harassed her for years, claims that included, as Variety reported, "grinding his erect penis against her while clad only in his underwear, groping her vagina, and at one point slapping her buttock so hard that it left a large welt still visible hours later".

Now for the way to watch the American Idol Season 16 premiere live online. "It's so interesting because you hear stories about your legends, he's got stories on all of them!"

American Idol is an American singing competition television series created by Simon Fuller.

"Timeless", 10 p.m. (KING): The time-travel drama returns, with a trio of heroes who travel through time to stop conspirators from manipulating history; a trip back 100 years leads to an encounter with scientists Marie Curie and Irène Joliot-Curie. Katy explained, "We are just so rambunctious". I think in the past there was some of that and maybe taking advantage of people; their actual skill sets for comedy.

Harper Grace of McKinney, Texas sings on "American Idol" on Sunday, March 11, 2018. To those who might think that may I remind you about brutal this show can be.

Conducted by book editor Judith Regan in conjunction with the book, If I Did It, that was originally to be published by Fox's corporate sibling HarperCollins, the interview, which has never aired, reportedly has Simpson, acquitted in the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman, talking, "hypothetically", about how he might have killed them. But it didn't come back.

Asking the new iteration of "American Idol" to entirely reinvigorate interested in the dated concept may be too demanding.

"What kind of star do you want?" the "Fireworks" singer continued. Will they be able to compete in what's become a bit of a crowded genre? Everybody hates me just because I eat worms.
